Sell Your Guitar

Please reach out to us if you are interested in selling any of your instruments, amplifiers, or effect pedals. We are mainly interested in vintage gear but are always happy to consider new and used gear. We buy individual instruments as well as entire collections. Please include photos or mention year, make, model, serial number, originality, case, and any other relevant notes. It is really helpful to give us a ballpark asking price so we have a good understanding of what you are selling.

About Us

Southside Guitars was founded in 2006 by native New Yorkers and brothers Ben and Sam Taylor. Coming from a musical family, Ben and Sam grew up sharing a love of both guitar and bass and have always been interested in vintage instruments. After beginning their own collections in their teens, they opened Southside to provide excellent quality used and vintage instruments to musicians and collectors alike. At Southside, we aim to provide a range of options from player to collector grade instruments for musicians in Brooklyn and beyond. We specialize in vintage guitars, basses, amps and effects and have a revolving door of unique instruments with something for every musician out there. We have a small, dedicated team at our shop ready to help out. Come by and see us when you’re in town or stop by our booth at one of the many guitar shows we attend each year.

Visit the shop!

Please feel free to stop by and check out the shop. We have a small selection of used & vintage guitars, amps & effect pedals on display in the store. Please note that the majority of our inventory is stored in cases and is not on display. We strongly recommend checking out our inventory before your visit and pick out anything you want to try out ahead of time. We are a small store and can only accommodate one customer trying guitars at a time. Please call or email if you would like to reserve a time to try out a particular guitar.
